Blues can finish strong under top boss Benitez

It’s been a long, hard season for both these sides and it’s Chelsea who are finishing the strongest.

Rafa Benitez can take enormous pride in how he’s refined a team that was going nowhere under Roberto Di Matteo and got them to the verge of a Champions League return and Europa League glory.

He’s made crucial tweaks at the right time and the way they outplayed Manchester United – albeit in a low-key affair – was testament to what Chelsea have achieved under my old boss.

Spurs have struggled recently against the likes of Fulham, Wigan, Southampton, as well as Basle, and I wonder if they’ve not just given all they’ve got.
