Destiny of title 11-10 to be decided on final day

THE battle to be crowned Premier League champions has been intriguing throughout the campaign and Ladbrokes offer 11-10 the destination of the title won’t be decided until the final day of the season.

Manchester City’s 2-2 draw with Sunderland saw Liverpool harden to 8-15 to win the title but there could still be some nervy moments for Brendan Rodgers’  side in a run-in which sees the Merseysiders head to Norwich and Crystal Palace as well as hosting Chelsea and Newcastle.

The date with destiny should come against Chelsea a week on Sunday with Ladbrokes making Liverpool 11-10 favourites for that match, while the Blues can be backed at 23-10.

Bet365 make Liverpool 11-8 not to claim their first title since 1990 and 9-2 to ease home by at least five points with Chelsea 3-1 to finish top of the pile and City are out to 13-2.

A season which promised so much for City is in danger of turning into a major flop with the blame sitting on the door of boss Manuel Pellegrini. However, the former Real Madrid boss is expected to be given a second season in charge and Hills make him 11-2 to depart this summer.

Pep Guardiola is Paddy Power’s 8-1 favourite when the time comes for City to make the change, but bet365 are only 11-8 the Manchester men finish the 2014-15 season potless.

Everton’s surprise 3-2 loss to Crystal Palace on Wednesday has handed Arsenal the initiative in the battle for Champions League qualification and the Gunners are 9-2 with bet365 to win all of their remaining matches.

After Saturday’s trip to Hull they take on Newcastle (home), West Brom (home) and Norwich (away).
