14-1 Swansea cause huge upset against Liverpool

SWANSEA caused the biggest upset of the Premier League season with a dramatic 3-2 win over Liverpool at Anfield that severely damaged the Merseysiders’ title ambitions.

Fernando Llorente’s quickfire double early in the second half was cancelled out by Roberto Firmino’s brace, only for Gylfi Sigurdsson to grab a surprise winner in a stunning 14-1 success.

Paul Clement’s strugglers had been 100-1 to win 3-2 as Liverpool let down their backers at odds of just 2-9 and Jurgen Klopp’s side drifted out to 10-1 to win the Premier League.

The Reds are seven points behind pacesetters Chelsea, who could increase that advantage to ten should they beat Hull at home on Sunday.

Antonio Conte will certainly have Saturday's results and the leaders are 4-9 for the title.

Chelsea are six points clear of second-placed Tottenham, who took an unlikely point from two down at Manchester City to draw 2-2 with Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son cancelling out strikes from Leroy Sane and Kevin De Bruyne.

Wayne Rooney scored his 250th Manchester United goal to break the club’s goalscoring record with a superb last-gasp free kick to earn the Red Devils a 1-1 draw at Stoke.

Sunderland hit rock-bottom in the Premier League after a 2-0 defeat at West Brom, while Crystal Palace are also in the relegation zone following a 1-0 loss at home to Everton.

Andy Carroll scored twice as West Ham’s recent upturn in fortunes continued with a fine 3-1 success at Middlesbrough and Bournemouth came from behind to draw 2-2 with Watford.
