Advocaat 5-4 to stay on at Sunderland
SUNDERLAND secured their Premier League survival with a precious goalless stalemate at Arsenal on Wednesday and now the club face another fight as they look to secure the future of manager Dick Advocaat.
The Dutchman led the Black Cats to safety, but when asked about his future at the Emirates said: I will give an answer on that next week. If you don't mind I will keep that to myself.”
Hills are 5-4 that Advocaat is Sunderland’s next permanent manager having taken over from Gus Poyet in March on a contract until the end of this campaign when many expected the 67-year-old to retire.
Sam Allardyce is 9-4 to head up to the Stadium of Light from West Ham, while 6-1 shot Paul Clement is the only other person below 14-1 in the betting.
