Allardyce rings the changes for first game

England manager Sam Allardyce is expected to make three changes to the team who lost to Iceland at Euro 2016, with John Stones, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana replacing Chris Smalling, Dele Alli and Daniel Sturridge.

One of the scapegoats of the summer was goalkeeper Joe Hart, who has subsequently been forced out of Manchester City and joined Torino in Italy, but Hart should keep his England place for the time being because of injuries to Jack Butland and Fraser Forster.

The Three Lions are 9-2 with Betway to go through qualifying unbeaten and 20-1 to win every game.

Left-back Luke Shaw was withdrawn from the squad and returned to his club Manchester United. There is no suggestion that Shaw was injured, and it is thought to be precautionary as Shaw only recently returned after badly breaking his leg.
