Attention turns on betting without City

MANCHESTER CITY are running away with the Premier League title, eight points clear of the chasing pack with Pep Guardiola's side only 1-8 to be crowned champions, but there is at least a fascinating race developing in the market without the leaders.

There's only four points between second-placed Manchester United and Arsenal in sixth with the Red Devils 6-4 favourites with 188Bet in the betting disregarding City.

However, there's plenty with chances and 5-2 shots Chelsea head to Liverpool on Saturday looking to put more distance between themselves and those outside of the top-four positions.

The Merseysiders are 15-2 in the without City market, while Arsenal are 10-1 and Tottenham can be backed at 5-2 as they prepare to welcome managerless West Brom to Wembley.

Alan Pardew is the 4-11 favourite to replace Tony Pulis, who was sacked on Monday, but there has been support for Craig Shakespeare with the former Leicester boss second favourite in most lists to be next in at the Hawthorns after Slaven Bilic reportedly turned down the opportunity for an interview.

Current interim boss Gary Megson is 25-1 with Betfair and Paddy Power to take over permanently, while West Brom are 2-1 to be relegated. Betway are 4-6 that Albion sort out their managerial vacancy quicker than 11-10 shots Everton.

Martin O'Neill has been a mover in the Everton manager market with current favourite Marco Silva drifting to 7-2.

At the other end of the table City are looking irresistible with Kevin De Bruyne the standout player in the opening 12 matches.

De Bruyne is 1-2 with Sky Bet to claim the PFA Player of the Year award and City are 10-1 with bet365 to go through the league campaign unbeaten.
