Bakayoko is a Blue as Chelsea land midfielder
PREMIER LEAGUE champions Chelsea have made their second significant transfer of the summer after finally completing a deal to sign central midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco.
Bakayoko, 22, has had a minor injury problem and reports suggest he may not be ready for the start of the campaign but, once fit, Blues boss Antonio Conte is expected to start him alongside French international colleague N'Golo Kante.
"I am looking forward to evolving under this fantastic coach and alongside so many great team-mates," said Bakayoko on Chelsea's official website.
Defender Antonio Rudiger has also arrived at Stamford Bridge but Conte will still be desperate to sign a striker after telling Diego Costa he is surplus to requirements and then missing out on number one forward target Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.
Chelsea are 19-5 with 188Bet to win the Premier League which puts them third in the market behind Manchester City and Manchester United.
