Bale header puts Wales on the brink of Euros
WALES are on the brink of qualifying for Euro 2016 after a 1-0 win in Cyprus on Thursday with Hills rating them just 1-100 to be in France next summer.
Gareth Bale’s brilliant header after 82 minutes proved to be the difference and Chris Coleman’s side can seal qualification with a win at home to Israel on Sunday.
Hills make them 4-5 for maximum points, while Wales are 16-1 not to reach their first major finals since 1958.
Wales remain top of Group B, three points clear of Belgium, who beat Bosnia 3-1. The Premier League-based trio of Marouane Fellaini, Kevin De Bruyne and Eden Hazard were on target for the Red Devils, while Israel are third in the section following a 4-0 success over Andorra.
