Bayern and Barca cruise into the semi-finals
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE big guns Bayern Munich and Barcelona had few problems qualifying for the semi-finals on Tuesday.
Bayern started as marginal 11-10 outsiders to reach the semis after they lost their quarter-final first leg 3-1 at Porto last week, but they destroyed their opponents with five first-half goals.
Jackson Martinez grabbed one back for Porto in the second half, but Bayern ran out 6-1 winners. The Bundesliga leaders are 13-8 with bet365 to lift the trophy, while Hills go 6-4.
Barcelona were 1-100 to qualify for the semis after beating Paris St-Germain 3-1 in France last week, and they made no mistake with a commanding 2-0 victory back at Camp Nou.
Well-backed League One sides MK Dons and Preston also won last night, leaving bet365 bemoaning huge losses.
