Betting pulled on De Gea moving to Real Madrid
LADBROKES have suspended betting on David de Gea leaving Manchester United after a summer switch to Real Madrid was being backed at 1-10.
Some reports have suggested De Gea will make the move to Madrid imminently and the former Atletico stopper was out to 5-1 to remain at Old Trafford before the plug was pulled on the market.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “De Gea was being backed to make the move to Madrid at a series of increasingly short prices. The run of bets we've taken suggest many expect confirmation of a deal to be announced shortly.”
