Betting suspended
on Cabaye joining PSG
NEWCASTLE have already turned down one bid from Paris St-Germain for Yohan Cabaye but Ladbrokes have suspended betting on the midfielder's future after reporting a rush of bets for the Frenchman to return to his homeland.
Cabaye was 6-4 to sign for PSG in the January window before cutting the price to 8-13 and eventually pulling the plug on the market with Laurent Blanc a known admirer of a player he selected for France’s Euro 2012 campaign.
Money certainly isn’t a problem for PSG - they have also been linked with a swoop for Juventus’ Paul Pogba - and Hills are 11-2 about Lionel Messi arriving in Paris in the summer transfer window with Barcelona 1-7 to hold his registration when the 2014-15 La Liga season starts.
