Brilliant Bantams have teed-up final-day yankee
It's always better to end the season on a high.
Just ask Sergio Aguero. A year ago, there he was, twirling his shirt above his head after scoring the last-gasp goal against QPR that handed City the title.
And now what's he doing? He's struggling to be fit for a game against Norwich that means absolutely sod all and is probably just looking forward to his holidays.
My weekend could prove to be a bit of an anti-climax as well after I lumped on Bradford to beat Northampton in the League Two play-off final yesterday.
Talk about never in doubt. The Cobblers were just that. They couldn't even muster a shot on target and the 7-5 was never in danger of being trousered as the Bantams stormed to a 3-0 lead.
It's provided a few quid for a tasty yankee to ensure that, even if the party has gone a bit flat, we can see off the Premier League in fine style.
Swansea were excellent the last time I saw them against Wigan and I'll be taking them to see off Fulham, who have managed just one point from their last seven matches. They headed off on their holidays long ago.
West Ham should have too much for Reading, while that big dressing-room row at Stoke can't have done much for the Potters' chances at Southampton.
And then we'll have some of Aston Villa at Wigan. They look a massive price against a team who, for all their FA Cup glory and neat football, can't defend for toffee.
If that quartet comes in, we'll all be running around waving our shirts over our heads.
