Just how much fun can you have in one night?

GOSH, I'm excited.

There's a new Sky Sports News studio and yet another new channel to watch football on being launched on Tuesday.

It's not news that has gone down particularly well at home as the constant flicking between channels really gets Mrs B's goat.

That and the amount of football that's on the telly.

But I can't say I'm too excited about the grandly titled Uefa Super Cup between Champions League winners Real Madrid and Europa League conquerors Seville.

I've sat through one of these games already this week. The Community Shield was a glorified friendly and there's been too many of those of late.

No, tonight is the first time we can get stuck into a midweek telefest of ex-players in headphones telling us what's happening in the Capital One Cup at such glorious venues as Spotland, Vale Park and a deserted St Andrew's.

And to enjoy this, I've decided on a bet that will bring no negative news.

I won't have to worry about late equalisers scuppering five-folds because I'm backing four teams to score more than one goal.

They will be Blackburn at home to Scunthorpe, Reading against Newport, Watford at Stevenage and Wolves against Northampton.

They should cop early and then maybe I'll watch the second half from Cardiff City Stadium.

That's all the televisual entertainment I'll need for one night.
