Cherries should pick off struggling Reds
I'M trying to find positives for Liverpool at the moment, because just about everyone I've spoken to expects Bournemouth to take them apart.
Er, I'm struggling. Bournemouth have a long drive up to Anfield, so might be tired. Oh hang on, the match is in Bournemouth. That's that then, unless the Cherries get stuck in some especially bad traffic.
Is psychiatrist Steve Peters still at Liverpool? Is he ok? I'm wondering if things might have got so bad that he could do with a psychiatrist himself. There are only so many 4am calls from Mario Balotelli a man can take. He's probably wishing he could go back to working with Ronnie O'Sullivan.
I'm not sure what can heal Liverpool but I don't think it's going to be a clash with a hungry, attacking Championship side fired-up for an upset.
And I tried some amateur psychology by analysing Liverpool's state of mind at the weekend and it didn't get me very far.
So I'm keeping this one simple by doing the sensible thing and backing Bournemouth.
If I've got the Reds wrong again, I might have to give Mr Peters a call.
