Bets on more away-day joy look the way to go
So much for home advantage, eh?
The first few weeks of the Premier League season have been an absolute bonanza for backers of away teams – which is why you all had the Crystal Palace-West Ham double yesterday, I'm guessing.
Home bankers such as Chelsea and Liverpool have suddenly become as untrustworthy as any other kind of banker and I reckon the trend will continue today.
I can't resist a little bet on Norwich to win at Southampton. The Canaries have made the step up from the Championship impressively and the Saints are bound to be a bit deflated after their Europa League exit.
Manchester United had no such problems on their Champions League jaunt to Belgium and they're the bet of the day at odds-against to win at Swansea.
I like the Swans but I've got them down as flat-track bullies and United are looking increasingly, well, good this season.
Now for the most important decision of the day – whose house am I going to watch the games at? I've obviously got no chance of winning at home.
