Bookmakers expect Gerrard to stay at Anfield

LIVERPOOL skipper Steven Gerrard hinted his future could be away from Anfield but bookmakers are fairly confident the one-club man won’t be leaving Anfield.

Gerrard is 2-5 with Hills to start the next Premier League season at Liverpool with Coral rating the former England captain 5-2 to have left by the beginning of the 2015-16 term.

Both bookmakers are quoting Gerrard at 5-1 to move to the MLS and it’s the two new clubs who could have the financial clout to bring somebody of his stature to America. Coral make Miami and New York City 16-1 shots to sign the 34-year-old by next summer.

Whether Mario Balotteli is still on Merseyside by then is open for debate but he scored against Swansea on Tuesday and is 6-4 with Ladbrokes to notch his first league goal on Saturday.

Balotelli is 4-7 with bet365 not to score and he is 4-1 to finish the term with at least ten league goals.
