Boro 3-1 to bounce back at the first attempt

MIDDLESBROUGH'S relegation from the Premier League was confirmed with a 3-0 defeat at Chelsea on Monday but they are just 3-1 with bet365 to regain top-flight status next season.

Boro are 9-1 with bet365 to win the 2017-18 Sky Bet Championship and 8-13 to finish above Sunderland.

Chelsea have moved seven points clear of Tottenham and might be looking towards strengthening for next season.

They have been linked with a move for Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk and are 11-10 with Betway to sign him this summer. Van Dijk is 11-4 to stay put and 7-2 to join Liverpool.

Gareth Bale is often mentioned as a target for Manchester United but doesn't appear set for a move to Old Trafford. Betway are betting on Bale's club at the end of the transfer window and quote 1-20 Real Madrid and 9-1 United.

Dick Advocaat has agreed to take over as Holland head coach for a third time - replacing Danny Blind, who was sacked after a 2-0 loss away to Bulgaria in March.
