Brave Royals 21-20 to snap winless league run

READING gave Arsenal a major scare in Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final but they have been struggling in the Championship and are bidding to snap a six-game winless sequence when hosting mid-table Birmingham at the Madejski on Wednesday night.

Loanees Nathan Ake and Kwesi Appiah return to the Reading squad after being ineligible at the weekend but defensive duo Anton Ferdinand and Jure Travner remain sidelined.

Birmingham have Watford loanees Diego Fabbrini and Lloyd Dyer available after both were ineligible to face their parent club at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

The Blues are 3-1 to bag their fifth away league win of the season, while Reading are 21-20 favourites.

Manchester United are the latest club to be linked with a move for highly-rated PSV Eindhoven winger Memphis Depay. Coral go 2-5 that he heads for Old Trafford.
