Brilliant Zaha fires Palace to play-off final
CRYSTAL PALACE are 6-5 to gain promotion to the Premier League after sealing a place in the Championship play-off final with a 2-0 victory at Brighton last night.
The Eagles had been 11-5 outsiders to qualify after they were held to a goalless draw in the first leg but the quality of Manchester United-bound Wilfried Zaha was the difference at the Amex Stadium.Zaha had been 11-1 to notch first.
There was disappointment for Gus Poyet’s Brighton, who were just 2-5 to qualify after the first-leg draw at Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace will face Watford – BetVictor’s 4-6 favourites to go up – in the final at Wembley on May 27.
