Bristol Rovers back in the Football League
BRISTOL ROVERS bounced back to the Football League at the first attempt after they beat Grimsby on penalties at Wembley following a 1-1 draw in normal time.
Jon-Paul Pittman was the only player to fail from the penalty spot as Rovers scored all of their attempts from 12 yards to win the shootout 5-3.
Grimsby had taken an early lead through Lenell John-Lewis, but Ellis Harrison equalised on 29 minutes and there were no further goals before the drama of penalties.
