Captain Rooney 8-1 to be dropped by Three Lions

THE Football Association have banned England players from nights out while on international duty after Wayne Rooney apologised for “inappropriate images” appearing in the media and Hills are offering 8-1 for the skipper to be dropped from the next Three Lions squad.

England are next in action against Germany and Lithuania in March with Rooney 1-20 to be kept in the squad.

Hills also rate Rooney 4-1 to leave Manchester United in January and 2-1 to depart Old Trafford before the end of the 2017 summer transfer window.

Coral are betting on Rooney’s next club with Everton 4-1 and a switch to the MLS is 11-4.

It remains to be seen whether Rooney is fit enough to start for United, who are already missing the suspended Zlatan Ibrahimovic, against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Saturday after the 31-year-old missed England’s 2-2 draw with Spain on Tuesday due to a minor knee injury.
