Celtic skipper Brown free to start Old Firm clash
LADBROKES PREMIERSHIP champions Celtic have been given a boost before Saturday's trip to Rangers as skipper Scott Brown has had his red card against Ross County overturned.
The successful appeal means Brown is available for the derby at Ibrox, for which Celtic are 8-11 favourites with the Gers 19-4.
Hills make Brown 4-5 to be shown a card in the Old Firm clash and 9-2 co-favourite with Joe Garner and James Tavernier to receive the first booking of the match. Paddy Power go 13-5 that a penalty is awarded at Ibrox.
Brown's red card was reduced to a yellow, triggering a suspension which means he will miss league games against Aberdeen and St Johnstone.
Newcastle travel to Cardiff having already sealed promotion from the Sky Bet Championship and they are 13-2 to pip Brighton to the title. The 1-9 Seagulls are four points clear with two games remaining.
On Thursday, the FA claimed that Joey Barton's 18-month suspension for breaching rules on betting was "the shortest possible" ban that could have been imposed given the Burnley midfielder's offences. Barton is expected to appeal against the punishment.
