Chelsea 66-1 for quad after Derby success
CHELSEA booked their place in the Capital One Cup semi-final with victory over Derby on Tuesday, and the Premier League leaders were 13-10 shots before Wednesday's remaining quarter-finals to seal a league title and league cup double.
Having started the week with a last-16 draw against Paris St-Germain in the Champions League, the Blues were 14-1 to add that European crown to the mix, and 66-1 for a quadruple with the FA Cup thrown in.
Chelsea return to Premier League action on Monday, when they are odds-on to claim three points. Second-placed Man City face Crystal Palace on Saturday and a five-goal win would see City go top on goal difference.
Also on Saturday Southampton take on Everton looking to halt a run of five consecutive defeats which came to a head on Tuesday night with a Capital One Cup exit at Bramall Lane. Hosts Sheffield United had been 6-1 to win inside normal time.
Gareth Bale was on the scoresheet and Iker Casillas saved a penalty as Real Madrid cruised to the final of the World Club Cup with a 4-0 victory over Mexican side Cruz Azul on Tuesday.
Real, 1-10 favourites for the trophy at the outset, will face the winners of Wednesday's match between Auckland City and San Lorenzo in Saturday's final.
Hills go 12-1 that Thierry Henry becomes Arsenal manager before 2020 now that the former Gunners striker has retired from playing.
Arsene Wenger has gone on record suggesting Henry as a future coach at the Emirates, although Hills are much shorter about another ex-Gunner, Dennis Bergkamp, at 4-1 to take the top job in the same timeframe.
