Chelsea cat Cech set
to sign for Gunners
PETR CECH looks highly likely to move from Chelsea to Arsenal with Betfred and Ladbrokes offering no better than 1-10 that his next club is the Gunners.
Despite reported interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal are believed to be ready to offer the Czech Republic goalkeeper £100,000 per week. That would be an increase on his current deal at Stamford Bridge and make him the best-paid keeper in Arsenal's history.
Another transfer which looks increasingly inevitable is Raheem Sterling's switch to Manchester City. Ladbrokes offer 1-4 that the 20-year-old Liverpool forward is at City after the transfer window and 7-2 that he is still with the Reds.
Harry Kane says he is flattered to be linked with Manchester United but happy to stay at Tottenham. He's expected to do so, with Ladbrokes 1-8 that the England striker starts next season at White Hart Lane. The 21-year-old is 4-1 to be at United by then.
Swansea manager Garry Monk is set to sign a new three-year contract with the club. He is 33-1 in places to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job, but Ladbrokes are less convinced of his long-term future and offer 10-1. On Friday, the Swans completed the signing of Franck Tabanou, who joined from Saint-Etienne for around £3.6m. The 26-year-old can play at left-back or left midfield.
Tottenham have signed Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier for £3.5m and Chelsea's out-of-contract 23-year-old Gael Kakuta has signed for Seville.
Championship favourites Derby, 8-1 for the title, have added West Brom veteran Chris Baird to their ranks.
Celtic host Ross County in their opening Ladbrokes Premiership game next season. They are 1-20 for title glory.
