Citizens out to 15-2 as Foxes harden for title

LEICESTER were the big winners on Wednesday as their three title rivals slipped to defeats and they have returned to the head of the Premier League title betting.

The Foxes were cut from 7-2 to 9-5 and are no bigger than 1-14 for a top-four finish.

Tottenham drifted from 15-8 from 9-4 after their 1-0 loss
at West Ham but could take comfort from defeats for Arsenal – 2-1 at home to Swansea – and Manchester City – 3-0 at Liverpool.

City are out to 15-2, as big as they have been all season, but they have a chance to regain some confidence when hosting Aston Villa tomorrow.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men are 1-5 to win the game, while Villa are 16-1 to post a first away win since the opening day of the season.

Arsenal have eased to 4-1 to finish top and are 11-5 from 9-5 to win tomorrow’s north London derby at White Hart Lane.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed he will be without goalkeeper Petr Cech and influential defender Laurent Koscielny against the Lilywhites, who could be boosted in midfield with Dele Alli and Mousa Dembele hoping to return to the starting line-up.

Spurs hold a three-point lead over their fierce rivals and bet365 go 8-11 that they finish above the Gunners for the first time since 1995.

Arsenal have lost three games in a row for the first time this season and are 5-1 with bet365 to finish outside the top four.

Arsene Wenger is coming under huge pressure and is 7-2 with BoyleSports to have left Arsenal before the start of next season (he is 1-6 to remain).

Missing out on the Champions League is an even bigger possibility for City, who are level on points with Manchester United following the Red Devils’ 1-0 triumph at home to Watford.

City have a game in hand and are 1-3 for a top-four finish, while United are 9-4. West Ham are  only a point behind United yet are 18-1 to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Newcastle are 11-10 for relegation after Xherdan Shaqiri’s goal condemned them to a 1-0 defeat at Stoke.

It was the Magpies’ 17th loss in 20 Premier League away games and leaves them second-bottom due to their goal difference being inferior to Norwich and Sunderland’s.

Bet365 – Arsenal finishing position: 7-2 first, 3 second, 3 third, 7-2 fourth, 5 fifth or lower. To finish higher: 8-11 Tottenham, Evs Arsenal.
BoyleSports – A Wenger to be Arsenal manager at start of next season: 1-6 yes, 7-2 no.
