Citizens trimmed for the title as rivals misfire

THERE were just five goals scored in four Premier League matches on Sunday and title favourites Manchester City would have enjoyed the low-scoring results.

City are evens – from 11-10 – to win the league after Tottenham drew 0-0 with Chelsea and Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw at Norwich. The Gunners traded at 1-7 in-play after Mesut Ozil gave them the lead but Norwich equalised through Lewis Grabban shortly before half-time.

Injuries to Laurent Koscielny and Alexis Sanchez deepened Arsenal’s gloom and they are out to 10-3 to win the title. Bet365 and Sky Bet pushed impressive Norwich out to 9-4 for relegation.

West Ham drew 1-1 at home to West Brom so the day’s only top-flight winners were Liverpool, who saw off Swansea 1-0 at Anfield and are 10-11 with Coral to finish in the top four this season.

Saturday’s record-breaker Jamie Vardy is 4-1 with bet365 to extend his goalscoring run to 13 or more Premier League games by scoring in his next two matches. The firm make him 11-10 to notch against Swansea in Leicester’s next fixture and 10-1 to do so from outside the penalty area – all 14 of his league goals this term have been scored inside the box.

Bet365 – Jamie Vardy PL goals (14 so far): 8-11 24 or fewer, Evs 25 or more; Vardy to start England’s first game at Euro 2016: 1-2 no, 6-4 yes.

Hills – Vardy’s club after January transfer window: 1-5 Leicester, 12 Man Utd, 14 Chelsea, 16 Tottenham, 20 Liverpool, 25 Real Madrid, 40 Barcelona, 50 Arsenal, Bayern Munich. Others on request.

Coral – to finish in the top four: 1-25 Man City, 1-16 Arsenal, 2-9 Man Utd, 10-11 Liverpool, 5-4 Tottenham, 4 Chelsea, 15-2 Leicester, 12 bar.
