City favourites to snap up Sterling this summer
THE frosty relationship between Raheem Sterling and Liverpool took a fresh twist when the club reportedly called off contract negotiations and the 20-year-old is out to 2-1 to remain on Merseyside by the end of the next transer window.
Betfair rate a switch to Manchester City 9-4, while Chelsea are 7-2 with Hills to snap up Sterling, who is 6-1 with bet365 to transfer to Arsenal. Coral are betting on Sterling’s next club whenever he decides to depart Liverpool and City are strong 5-4 favourites.
The Evening Standard reported Sterling’s agent Aide Ward as saying: "He’s not signing for 700, 800, 900 thousand a week."
