Promoted Clarets 13-8 to survive in top flight
BURNLEY are 13-8 with bet365 to avoid relegation next season after Sean Dyche’s side secured promotion to the Premier League with a 2-0 win over Wigan.
Goals from Ashley Barnes and Michael Kightly were enough to give the Clarets their 14th home win of the season. They had been just 9-2 to be relegated from the second tier at the start of the campaign.
At the bottom, Blackpool are 5-4 with bet365 to be relegated as they drew 1-1 with Brighton while Barnsley have a mountain to climb after they lost at Derby.
Wolves made sure they will finish the season as League One’s top dogs as they won 3-1 at Leyton Orient.
After winning at lunchtime in east London, their triumph was confirmed later when MK Dons recovered from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 with second-placed Brentford.
Stevenage were relegated after losing at home to Bristol City.
The race for promotion from League Two is still on as the top four all won. Leaders Scunthorpe, who beat Oxford 1-0, are 1-2 with Betfred to win the league, with Chesterfield 9-2.
Torquay grabbed a stay of execution with a win at Exeter while Northampton are 15-8 to go down after losing 1-0 to Portsmouth.
