Crisis-club Villa 4-1 to fall into relegation spots

ASTON VILLA are 4-1 with bet365 to suffer further humiliation by finishing Saturday in the relegation places.

Paul Lambert’s side, who lost 3-1 in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final at League Two Bradford City on Tuesday night, host Southampton in 17th place and the Saints are 13-5 to be in the bottom three after the Villa Park clash.

Wigan, who occupy 18th place but are only behind Southampton on goal difference, are another club involved in the relegation scrap. Bet365 go 8-13 about the Latics of the trio to be in the relegation zone after Saturday’s matches as they head to London to face Fulham.

Newcastle, who have enough points to avoid dropping into the bottom three for the time being, travel to Norwich while QPR, who are 13-8 with bet365 to beat the drop in May, host Andre Villas-Boas’ in-form Tottenham team on Saturday lunchtime.

Bet365 don’t give Reading, who face West Brom, much hope of survival as they are the 1-7 favourites to return to the Championship at the first attempt.
