Depleted City 8-13 to end up bottom of Euro group
MANCHESTER CITY'S Champions League hopes are hanging by a thread as they prepare to face Bayern Munich on Tuesday, and they are just 8-13 to finish bottom of qualifying group E.
Bayern are already through to the knockout stage but are unlikely to step off the gas at the Etihad, while City are without the injured Edin Dzeko and Alex Kolarov while Yaya Toure and Fernandinho are suspended.
The battle to finish second behind the Bavarians is between 8-13 Roma and 11-4 CSKA Moscow, with Manuel Pellegrini's men rated 9-2 shots to sneak through.
Also on Tuesday, Barcelona take on Apoel Nicosia and are 10-3 favourites to be the day's top scorers in European action - it's 4-1 Sporting Lisbon (at home to Maribor), 5-1 Paris St-Germain (home to Ajax) and 9-1 bar.
