Dominant Reds left to rely on late goal for point

LIVERPOOL’S Martin Skrtel scored an injury-time equaliser to deny Arsenal, who traded at 1-25 in-play, a Premier League victory at Anfield on Sunday.

Arsenal remain 2-5 to finish in the top four this season but it was an unconvincing display from Arsene Wenger’s men.

Liverpool – 9-1 with Betfred to make the top four after their poor start to the season – dominated possession and created the majority of the chances but had to settle for a 2-2 draw, a 12-1 chance before kick-off.

Philippe Coutinho, who was 12-1 to score first, put the Reds ahead but the Gunners hit back with goals either side of half-time through Mathieu Debuchy and Olivier Giroud.

There was also late drama at St James’ Park as Sunderland’s Adam Johnson scored a 90th-minute winner against Newcastle. The Black Cats, who were matched at 18-1 in-play on Betfair, are out to 6-1 to be relegated and are 10-1 to finish in the top ten this term.

Chelsea travel to Stoke on Monday night and the Blues are 25-1 with bet365 to win the Premier League on goal difference and 4-1 to take the title by more than ten points.

The firm have an in-play offer on the game at the Britannia Stadium – punters who place a pre-match wager will receive a risk-free in-play bet to a maximum stake of £50.

Dundee United moved up to second in the Scottish Premiership table after Sunday’s 2-1 win over Celtic. The Arabs had been 6-1 to take three points and are now 6-4 second-favourites behind 11-8 Aberdeen, in Ladbrokes' Without Celtic title betting.
