Dortmund firm Europa League favourites at 8-1
LIVERPOOL were trimmed for the Europa League after being drawn alongside Rubin Kazan, Bordeaux and Sion and the Reds are 16-1 to lift the trophy.
Borussia Dortmund, who qualified for the group stages with an 11-5 aggregate win over Odd Grenland, are 8-1 firm favourites with Napoli 16-1 and Tottenham next in the betting at 20-1.
Spurs are in Group J with Anderlecht, Monaco and Qarabag of Azerbaijan and they are 6-5 with Coral to finish top of the section.
Liverpool are 4-7 favourites for Group B but Celtic, who were knocked out by Malmo in the Champions League playoffs on Tuesday, are 4-1 with Hills to win a section featuring Fenerbahce, Ajax and Molde.
Ronny Deila’s men are 8-11 with Coral to qualify for the knockout stages.
Coral are very keen to keep Dortmund on side. The firm’s spokesman John Hill said: “It is difficult for punters to back any side with real confidence at this stage as more teams will be added from the Champions League.
“However, there has been no shortage of interest in Dortmund, with many punters putting them in a double with Barcelona for the Champions League.”
The Bundesliga side are in a straightforward-looking group alongside PAOK Thessaloniki, Krasnodar and Gabala.
Southampton’s conquerors Midtjylland are in the same group as Napoli and are 250-1 to win the competition.
