Dramatic move for Pulis return to Palace
THE remarkable twists in the next Crystal Palace manager betting may not be over just yet with Tony Pulis joint-second favourite for a dramatic return to Selhurst Park.
Pulis, who left Palace after a disagreement regarding transfer policy, was reportedly not keen to work with sporting director Iain Moody, who resigned from his position on Wednesday.
Pulis is 6-1 with bet365 and Coral, while Neil Lennon is Paddy Power’s 15-8 favourite. Steve Clarke can be backed at 6-1 and current caretaker Keith Millen, who will take charge of today’s London derby against West Ham, is 7-1 to get the gig permanently.
Malky Mackay had been set to replace Pulis prior to this week’s revelations and Paddy Power have decided to pay out on the Scot missed out on the vacancy.
Bet365 offer 8-1 that Chelsea don’t lose a home league match this term as the title favourites prepare for their opening Stamford Bridge match, with Leicester the visitors.
Betfred make new striker Diego Costa 16-1 to mark his home debut with a hat-trick.
