Dyche all the rage for Villa vacancy

STEVE BRUCE looks to be facing some competition for the Aston Villa vacancy with Burnley manager Sean Dyche emerging as a contender for the position.

There have been reports that Bruce is already lining up new signings but the 55-year-old was eased from 1-6 to 2-5 in the next Villa manager betting yesterday while Dyche was punted into 11-4 from
16-1.

Persuading Dyche to drop back down to the second tier may not be easy but plenty of punters expect him to make the move.

Dyche has been slashed from 25-1 to 5-2 to be the next Premier League manager to go and is the market leader ahead of 3-1 shots David Moyes and Slaven Bilic.

France have been clipped from 8-11 to 2-5 to win World Cup qualifying Group A after Paul Pogba’s goal handed them a 1-0 victory over Holland in Amsterdam on Monday.

Holland have eased to 16-5 while Sweden – joint-top of the section after a 3-0 success at home to Bulgaria – are an 8-1 chance.

Next A Villa manager (best prices): 2-5 S Bruce (Sky Bet), 11-4 S Dyche (Coral), 12 S Clarke (Betfair, Betway, Power), 16 D Wagner (Sky Bet), 20 D Smith (Sky Bet), 25 bar.
