England begin Euro 2016 prep with Turkey win
ENGLAND started their Euro 2016 preparations with a 2-1 win against Turkey at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Jamie Vardy’s late goal proved to be the difference after Harry Kane’s opener was cancelled out by Hakan Calhanoglu, while the Tottenham forward also missed a penalty in the second half.
Coral reacted by cutting Vardy, who started on the left wing before switching to a central position alongside Kane, to 6-4 from 2-1 to be in the England team for their opening Euro 2016 match against Russia in Marseille on June 11.
