England new boy Osman 5-1 for World Cup spot

LEON OSMAN is 5-1 with Ladbrokes to be in England’s World Cup party after he was named in Roy Hodgson’s squad to take on Sweden on Wednesday.

The Everton midfielder was a surprise inclusion and is 6-4 with Ladbrokes to start the match in Stockholm, while Steven Caulker is 11-10 to get the nod with Liverpool’s teenage ace Raheem Sterling rated at 5-4.

Jack Wilshere returns to Three Lions duty and is 6-5 with Hills to start and the same firm are offering 4-6 on at least two of Caulker, Sterling, Osman, Fraser Forster and Ryan Shawcross being involved from the start in the international friendly.

Arsenal full-back Carl Jenkinson, who played for Finland at youth level, will also be in the squad once he receives international clearance for Fifa, although he won’t count in the Hills debutants market.

Expert verdict
Five of the last six Merseyside derbies have ended in a draw and the latest installment could end the same way. Everton haven’t won any of the last ten derbies but the Toffees have the attacking options to prey on the visitors’ defensive fragility to take a point from the Goodison Park encounter.
