Fabregas cut for PFA Player of the Year award
PREMIER LEAGUE title favourites Chelsea impressed with their slick passing in the 3-1 victory over Burnley and new signing Cesc Fabregas was the heartbeat of the side.
Fabregas was cut from 20-1 to 12-1 by Hills to win the PFA Player of the Year award, while Diego Costa opened his account at Turf Moor and was cut to 5-1 to finish as the Premier League’s top goalscorer.
Jose Mourinho’s biggest decision came in selecting Thibaut Courtois over Petr Cech between the posts.
Courtois is 4-1 with Ladbrokes to win the Premier League’s Golden Glove award, while Cech can be backed at 5-2 with Coral to leave Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window.
Burnley would love that depth to their squad but the newly-promoted Clarets are 19-10 to finish bottom of the table.
