Fighting Foxes 100-30 to reach next round

JAMIE VARDY'S away goal in Seville has given Leicester hope of progressing to the Champions League quarter-finals with the Foxes 100-30 with BoyleSports and Sky Bet to make the last eight of Europe's premier club competition.

Leicester trail 2-1 but it could have been far worse and Claudio Ranieri's men at least have a shot of qualifying which did not look the case prior to Vardy halving Seville's first-leg advantage.

It was a great midweek for the majority of punters with bet365's Steve Freeth saying: "We took a Champions League kicking with all four favourites winning, three of them in a game where both teams scored so we were relieved results in other competitions helped to stop it being a complete sob story for bookmakers."

Despite an improved second-half performance in Spain, it was still another Leicester loss and Ranieri remains odds-on at 8-13 with Hills to be the next Premier League manager to leave his current position.

Leicester, who have not scored a Premier League goal in 2017 and host Liverpool on Monday, can be backed at 15-8 with Paddy Power to be relegated.

Middlesbrough, who like Leicester are involved in the dogfight at the bottom, could be missing three defenders for their crunch clash at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Right-back Antonio Barragan is a definite non-runner and late checks will need to be made on George Friend and Calum Chambers.
