Hughton new favourite for Fulham vacancy
CHRIS HUGHTON shortened from 5-1 to 4-9 in the next Fulham manager betting following reports that he features on a three-man shortlist and is set to be interviewed for the position next week.
The 55-year-old steered Newcastle to the Championship title in 2009-10 but has been out of the game since being sacked by Norwich six months ago.
Hughton replaces caretaker-manager Kit Symons as the market leader although Symons, who has eased from 5-4 to 3-1, has another chance to advance his claims when the Cottagers host leaders Norwich on Saturday.
Steve Clarke is also reported to be on Fulham’s shortlist and has been cut from 14-1 to 6-1.
