Injury-hit Chelsea friendless for derby
SHELL-SHOCKED Chelsea have drifted to 14-5 to beat Tottenham on Sunday and Antonio Conte must decide whether to risk many of his injured stars for the Wembley showdown.
Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill are both suspended, while Pedro, Eden Hazard, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata have all been short of fitness which has seen the champions become friendless for the London derby.
Pedro pulled out of training on Friday and Conte said Hazard needed “patience” but indicated he may risk Bakayoko.
“I think he can be in contention for the game, because I don’t have another midfielder,” said Conte, who is only 5-1 with bet365 to lead Chelsea to a finishing position of seventh or lower as the Blues look to react to last week’s 3-2 loss to Burnley.
