Injury-hit Chelsea friendless for derby

SHELL-SHOCKED Chelsea have drifted to 14-5 to beat Tottenham on Sunday and Antonio Conte must decide whether to risk many of his injured stars for the Wembley showdown.

Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill are both suspended, while Pedro, Eden Hazard, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata have all been short of fitness which has seen the champions become friendless for the London derby.

Pedro pulled out of training on Friday and Conte said Hazard needed “patience” but indicated he may risk Bakayoko.

“I think he can be in contention for the game, because I don’t have another midfielder,” said Conte, who is only 5-1 with bet365 to lead Chelsea to a finishing position of seventh or lower as the Blues look to react to last week’s 3-2 loss to Burnley.

Tottenham will be hoping this is the perfect opportunity to land a telling blow and bet365 are 6-1 that Spurs win both matches against the champions this term.

For Tottenham to start their season in the best possible fashion they could do with Harry Kane ending his run of never having scored a league goal in August.

Kane is 2-5 with Betway to score in August – they host Burnley next week – and it’s 15-8 he once again fires blanks.

Liverpool have turned down a third bid from Barcelona, believed to be £113m. Sky Bet make Coutinho evens to remain at Anfield beyond the end of the summer transfer window and Barca are 8-11 to get their man.

Romelu Lukaku is 10-1 with bet365 to score at least 30 Premier League goals this season with his Manchester United side heading to Swansea today, fresh from a 4-0 win over West Ham when the Belgian bagged twice.

Steve Bruce is under pressure as Aston Villa manager following a slow start to the campaign and Ladrokes offer 2-1 he does not last the season in charge.

Villa host Norwich having drifted to 9-2 for promotion having been ante-post favourites.
