Jovetic at the double in City win over Liverpool
CHAMPIONS Manchester City are 2-1 with Coral to retain their Premier League title after they claimed a notable scalp last night with a 3-1 over last season’s runners-up Liverpool.
Two goals from Stevan Jovetic either side of half-time set them on their way before substitute Sergio Aguero added a third.
Liverpool, who were able to grab only a Pablo Zabaleta own goal by way of consolation, have been pushed out to a general 14-1 to claim the title.
The win means City join Tottenham, Swansea and Chelsea as the only teams to have won their first two Premier League matches and Jose Mourinho’s side are 5-4 favourites with bet365 to be crowned champions.
Premier League best prices: 5-4 Chelsea (bet365), 2 Manchester City (Coral), 7 Arsenal (general), 12 Manchester United (general), 14 Liverpool (general).
