Kane tops goal chart with hat-trick against Foxes
FOUR of the Premier League’s top seven were in action on Saturday and all four won at odds-on with Manchester City cruising to a 3-0 win over ten-man West Brom.
City are 12-1 for the title with Arsenal, 2-1 winners at Newcastle, 20-1 and Chelsea, who travel to Hull on Sunday, 1-10 favourites.
Tottenham and Southampton also won to keep up the pressure on top-four rivals Liverpool and Manchester United, who meet at Anfield today.
Harry Kane scored a hat-trick in a 4-2 home win for Spurs against Leicester and the 21-year-old striker is 11-8 favourite to win the Golden Boot.
Kane’s three goals took him to 19 for the league season – one ahead of Diego Costa and two clear of Sergio Aguero – and he has been matched at 999-1 on Betfair to end up as the leading scorer in the top flight.
Chelsea’s Costa is 7-4 for the Boot and Aguero is a 2-1 shot.
Tottenham are 10-1 to finish in the top four and Southampton, who saw off Burnley 2-0 are 9-1, with Manchester United 10-11 and Liverpool 11-10 to qualify for the Champions League.
Burnley and Leicester remain in the relegation zone alongside QPR, who host Everton on Sunday while Swansea won at Aston Villa and Stoke lost 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace.
Bournemouth were the big winners in the Championship on Saturday – after beating title rivals Middlesbrough 3-0 they are 13-8 to win the division and 4-11 for promotion. Norwich were cut from 7-1 to 9-2 for the title after beating Nottingham Forest as Watford lost at home to Ipswich.
