Kante red-hot favourite for PFA award
N'Golo Kante believes there are three teammates more deserving than him to win the PFA Player of the Year award but the Chelsea midfielder is a red-hot favourite to collect the award next month.
"There is Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and David Luiz," said Kante, although some bookmakers believe Kante is a good thing with odds as low as 1-12.
Betfair are offering a standout 1-5 Kante is named as the Premier League's best player by his fellow professionals. He had been available at 66-1 ante-post for the award.
Hazard is Kante's closest rival at 6-1 with the Chelsea duo way clear of the chasing pack. Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes next at 25-1 alongside Costa, while Luiz is a 100-1 shot with Sky Bet.
Dele Alli is 1-4 to claim the PFA Young Player of the Year award and become only the fourth player to retain the honour.
Ryan Giggs (1992-93), Robbie Fowler (1995-96) and Wayne Rooney (2005-06) are the three others to have won it two years running.
