Klopp slashed for Manchester City hotseat
JURGEN KLOPP has replaced Carlo Ancelotti at the head of the next Manchester City manager betting after announcing that he will step down as Borussia Dortmund manager at the end of the season.
Before the announcement there was talk of Klopp preparing to take a one-year sabbatical from football but he swiftly dismissed the notion, and by doing so, increased the possibility of a summer switch to the Etihad where current manager Manuel Pellegrini is under enormous pressure.
Klopp is 10-11 favourite with Betfair and Paddy Power to replace Pellegrini, having been 10-1 on Tuesday evening.
However, City may not be the only English club interested in the German, who has long been mooted as a potential replacement for Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.
BoyleSports offer 5-1 that Arsenal are Klopp’s next employers and bet365 go 8-13 that the German is managing in the Premier League from the start of next season and 6-5 that he isn’t.
