Lampard tipped for loan spell at champions City

FRANK LAMPARD ended his long association with Chelsea to join MLS franchise New York City last month but the 36-year-old could reappear in the Premier League before Christmas.

New York City will make their MLS debut in 2015, meaning Lampard may look for a loan spell in the autumn Hills make him 4-9 to join Manchester City, who formed the MLS franchise in partnership with the New York Yankees baseball team.

Arsenal are 13-2 to win the Premier League, just behind 5-1 third-favourites United.

Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Fulham defender Brede Hangeland on a free transfer.

Palace are 11-4 to be relegated from the top flight while Coral are a best-priced 11-2 about Southampton going down.

The Saints are as short as 7-2 for the drop elsewhere but Coral’s John Hill said: “Although they have lost four or five key players we still think they have enough to avoid the drop so we are happy to lay them to be relegated.”
