Bookies Keane on Roy's Ireland chances

ROY KEANE quit his role as Aston Villa assistant manager on Friday to concentrate on a similar role with Ireland and bookmakers believe the role of national team manager will be his next calling.

Paddy Power are betting on Keane’s next managerial position and the Ireland job is 6-4 favourite, while a return as the main man to replace Paul Lambert at Villa is 3-1.

Keane has previously turned down the Celtic gig but the former Bhoys player is 4-1 to return to Parkhead as manager.
