Liverpool 5-1 for title after Swansea success

THE Premier League’s two short-priced hotpots both won as the other three top-flight matches finished level on a day when only Hull failed to score.

Liverpool, 5-1 to win the title, moved up to second with a 2-1 comeback victory at Swansea to narrow the gap on leaders Manchester City to two points.

A slow start from the Merseysiders allowed Leroy Fer to put Swansea in front but Roberto Firmino equalised early in the second half and James Milner won the match from the penalty spot with six minutes remaining.

Swansea battled hard for under-pressure boss Francesco Guidolin but with the international break on the horizon he is as short as 1-6 to be the first Premier League manager to leave his current position.

Betfair and Paddy Power are still laying 8-15.

Chelsea bounced back from their shaky spell to beat Hull 2-0 thanks to goals from Willian and Diego Costa with bookmakers responding by making the Blues 20-1 to win the title.

Hull are odds-on at 10-11 to be relegated, while Sunderland are 4-5 following their 1-1 draw at home to West Brom.

A late Patrick van Aanholt equaliser cancelled out Nacer Chadli’s opener.

Bournemouth were pegged back twice in a 2-2 draw at Watford and Dimitri Payet’s wonderful goal helped West Ham to grab a point at home to Middlesbrough, who had led through Cristhian Stuani’s header.
