Liverpool gaffer 5-1 to boss his fellow managers
CONFIDENCE is growing in the red half of Merseyside with Liverpool currently rampant and their boss Jurgen Klopp is 5-1 with Sky Bet to be named as the LMA Manager of the Year.
Klopp, who watched his Liverpool side beat Derby 3-0 in the League Cup on Tuesday, is getting a fine tune out of the team this season, as proven by wins at Arsenal and Chelsea.
Only 2-1 favourite Pep Guardiola is ahead of Klopp in the betting with Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger available at 10-1.
Wenger was first unveiled to the media as Arsenal’s manager 20 years ago on Thursday and he celebrated in style with a 4-0 success at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
Back in 1996 Wenger had been 5-1 with Hills not to last the season following his appointment but he is still going strong at the Emirates despite the last league title arriving in 2004.
It’s 5-2 with Hills that this will be Wenger’s last season in the Arsenal hotseat, while he is 2-7 to remain in situ for the start of the next campaign.
Saturday sees Arsenal host Chelsea, who beat champions Leicester after extra-time in the League Cup on Tuesday.
The Gunners are 29-20 for maximum points with Chelsea available at 21-20 to triumph over their London rivals.
