Millers slashed for relegation after charge
ROTHERHAM have been slashed from 9-1 to 3-1 to be relegated from the Championship after the strugglers were charged by the Football League for fielding an ineligible player.
On-loan defender Farrend Rawson played the full match as Rotherham beat Brighton 1-0 earlier this month and the Football League will meet to discuss the case “at the earliest possible opportunity to ensure it reaches its conclusion before the end of the current season.”
The Millers, who could be deducted points, are currently seven points clear of safety and face Fulham away on Wednesday.
