Nasri given three-match ban after no appeal

SAMIR NASRI will serve a three-match suspension after Manchester City decided not to appeal his sending off at Norwich on Saturday when he was dismissed for an alleged headbutt.

Roberto Mancini had hinted the club would appeal but that is not the case and Nasri will miss out on home dates against Stoke and Watford as well as a clash with former club Arsenal at the Emirates.

City's record with Nasri this season reads: W8 D7 L4 and without: W5 D3 L1

Expert verdict
Roma won 2-1 in Rotterdam on Thursday after playing the last 30 minutes against ten men but face a tougher challenge at home to Serie A title rivals Juventus. It looks a must win game for the Wolves but Juve are the more accomplished side and can take maximum points from their trip to the capital.
